Explore your next step into Bible translation

1.5 billion people worldwide still cannot access the Bible in their own language. Explore Online is an opportunity to see how your skills and experience could play a vital role in getting these people access to the Scriptures.

This year’s course will be an online programme spanning two weekends, exploring whether now is the right time for you to embark on the journey towards service with us and what that journey involves.

What’s Explore Online about?

Explore Online is a unique chance for people of all ages to listen to the experiences of those working in the field with Wycliffe and find out what work with us looks like.

We start with the vision for transformational development through Bible translation. Then in subsequent morning and evening sessions, we will hear what life overseas is like, how to go about raising financial support and how to work in healthy multicultural teams.

There will be sessions covering the application process, training with Wycliffe and the role of sending churches. Through it all, we encourage you to note and ask your questions – and we will do our best to answer them!

Whether individuals are looking to study Bible translation at the School of Language and Scripture or start the process into becoming a Wycliffe member, we’re looking forward to welcoming you to Explore Online.

If you’d like to know more, please express an interest via the Wycliffe website here.
