Overview:
Moorlands College is seeking an experienced academic quality professional to play a central role in safeguarding and enhancing the academic standards of the College.
Reporting to the Director of Learning and Student Experience, the role will maintain academic quality and standards, ensuring that our programmes, teaching and assessment enable students to achieve positive, meaningful outcomes while meeting the expectations of the Higher Education regulatory environment.
This is a key role at the heart of academic governance, offering the opportunity to shape quality assurance practice, support academic colleagues, and contribute to the College’s ongoing development, including working towards achieving degree-awarding powers.
Successful candidates will bring experience in academic quality or standards roles, along with understanding of regulatory expectations and academic governance. Strong analytical skills, and confident interpersonal skills to challenge and influence senior academic colleagues will be essential. Hours: 32 Hour per week OR Full Time (40 Hour week)
Open to discussion on Hybrid Option (minimum 3 days in the office)
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Salary: 32hours/week: £27,641 to £29,984 per annum, or 40 hours/week (FT): £34,552 – £37,481 per annum
