Overview:

Moorlands College are seeking a General Maintenance Worker, to provide routine maintenance services to our College grounds and facilities.

The role will involve routine maintenance tasks and minor general repair work on our buildings, facilities and large campus grounds. These tasks vary from routine weekly checks, to purchasing of materials and overseeing contractors to complete necessary larger jobs.

Successful applicants will have a general understanding and experience of carpentry, plumbing and decorating and be comfortable conversing on this skill areas as well as performing basic tasks. Experience of planning and prioritising tasks is essential, as well as a good level of fitness and ability to regularly carry heavy loads. This role supports staff and students on campus, and requires a positive, happy disposition, along with a willingness to help others and respond positively to repair requests.

Rate of pay: £10.51 per hour.
