Overview:

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Youth and Community Work Lecturer to join our academic team to support our vision to equip people, passionate about Jesus, to impact the church and the world.  The role will be responsible for planning, designing and the delivery of face to face and digital elements of the College’s undergraduate programmes, in addition to assessment and marking. There is an expectation that this role will be the lead for expertise on professional youth and community work practice either through experience and / or, alongside playing a significant role in the spiritual and community life of the College.

The successful candidate will be qualified at least to Masters level in a related discipline and have a JNC Professional Youth Work qualification. Significant experience of teaching at undergraduate level and working in Christian ministry is essential. It will be advantageous to hold a doctorate and/ or HEA fellowship and to share experiences in module writing and designing curricula.  Candidates must be proactive, passionate about their subject area and able to engage with students to act as inspiring role models.

Further details:

Location: Moorlands College, Christchurch Campus (Expectation to teach at Primary Location and other Locations across the UK).

Salary: Full time salary £38,770

Hours: Full time or 32 hours per week. Due to timetabling, the days of the week will vary and teaching schedules will cover Tuesday – Friday.
