Home E Studying E Student experience E Our locations of study

With four locations across the UK, we provide theological training that suits your location and circumstances the best.

Knowing that God calls every student to an individual ministry, we offer three distinctive modes of study to help provide you with the best possible learning environment.

1)  Christchurch Campus-based

Average of 4 days a week of lectures plus placement

Choosing to study for your BA (Hons) with our campus-based option could suit you best if you feel called to rigorous, biblical theological training but aren’t yet entirely sure what your future ministry might look like. Alternatively, if you know where you’re going, but want the more immersive community learning experience coupled with the rhythms of corporate spirituality, this option could also be for you.

2)  Christchurch Placement-based

One day a week of lectures, three five-day study blocks per year plus placement

Choosing to study for your BA (Hons) with our Christchurch placement-based option might suit your circumstances best if you already have an idea of your particular area of ministry. A placement-based BA (Hons) degree will give you a formal, recognised qualification whilst you progress your ministry, apply all that you learn ‘on-the-job’, whilst meeting like-minded Christians on the programme.

3)  Regional Placement-based

Week-long intense study blocks spread across the year plus placement

Our Regional Centres deliver BA (Hons) placement-based programmes in applied theology, enabling you to be on placement whilst studying. You’ll be taught via study blocks throughout the academic year, allowing you to fully engage in activities locally to you. A placement-based BA (Hons) degree will give you a formal, recognised qualification whilst you progress your ministry, apply all that you learn ‘on-the-job’, whilst meeting like-minded Christians on the programme.
