In the 2018 National Student Survey (NSS), we achieved 97% for teaching satisfaction. The high score is complimented with the college’s overall student satisfaction score of 95%.
Moorlands College were successful in several areas, particularly those relating to learning opportunities (95%) and academic support (91%).
A further handful of specific scores included:
- 100% satisfaction for staff making our courses interesting
- 97% satisfaction for opportunities to explore ideas or concepts in depth
- 95% satisfaction for students receiving sufficient advise and guidance
2018 has been extremely positive for the college as we were also awarded a Silver Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) award for ‘high quality teaching, learning and outcomes for its students. [We] consistently exceed rigorous national quality requirements for UK higher education’.
The recent NSS results put us in great stead for when we apply for TEF in 2019.
